The Art of Creation

Updated: May 13, 2021

Creation of a product can seem like a daunting task. From making soap, to the act of sewing clothes, or even baking bread has slowly lost popularity as accessibility of these products is simpler and quicker than doing it yourself. No longer is it the popular or "easy" route to milk the cow living in the backyard, instead a quick drive to the local supermarket is the best route to go.

There are many things the civilized world should be commended for but the artistic nature of some crafts should not be lost to us. For a number of years now I have found pleasure in the art of wine making and fermenting beverages. This process creates a product far more enjoyable than the $10 bottle on grocery store shelves and does not require a large pasture with a cow (that many of us do not have access to). Through an interest to learn and simple planning anyone can self proclaim their master brewer abilities. Either in winemaking or any other activity I encourage you to try something new, something you have expressed interest in. You might be surprised at how rewarding the outcome turns out.
